In my 21 years of military service around the US, I have never seen such poor USPS service as I've experienced since relocating to Chapel Hill. While this office's service has improved somewhat over the last year or so, it's still exceptionally poor. And the overall centralized USPS supporting systems are absolute POSs... Especially its parcel tracking system. Never-ending packages that suddenly stopped receiving tracking updates, many that were not delivered on-time, and/or mis-delivered to the wrong address. I just had three parcels sit at this post office for at least 48 hours before being delivered... There is just no excuse for this kind of poor service... Did someone forget to tell this post office the holidays were coming? The USPS needs to be privatized... It's the only way to fix it... It's just too hard to fire these people...
They had a long line today and got everyone in and out quick and were real friendly.
Great phone customer service - Jerald (Sp?) was amazing! Very kind and very helpful. He had no problem helping me out and even went the extra mile to get in touch with a specific carrier to resolve my issue. Thank you!
This place needs to be held accountable by tax payers. They never get packages delivered on time. I really wish FedEx would stop handing off here. When a package is scheduled for one day but it takes them 5 extra days to deliver, that is ridiculous.
I increased to 3 stars because the office people are nice.
Patience pays off. I scheduled an appointment for my passport and all went, easy as could be. The property is older but the people are pleasant and efficient. I appreciate the convenience of the location. Thanks y’all!!
